A downloadable game for Windows
Demo Day 19 Build
Fly the jet around and shoot at the targets. Unfortunately there's not much else
going on in the demo day build because this is all so fresh. There are several
aerial targets to destroy, and a handful of ground targets. You can press R to
restart the scenario.
The entire game was designed around an Xbox One controller. If you have it, it's highly recommended you use it. I can't guarantee how well it works with other gamepads. Backup keyboard controls have been added, but this wasn't designed with keyboard in mind.
Xbone Controller (Recommended)
Pitch: Left Thumbstick Up/Down
Roll: Left Thumbstick Left/Right
Yaw: Left/Right Triggers
Speed up: Left Bumper
Slow down: Right Bumper
Look around: Right Thumbstick
Pitch: Up/Down Arrow
Roll: Left/Right Arrow
Speed up: W
Slow down: S
Lock onto a target with Y (Xbone gamepad) or Q (keyboard) and fly towards the target. You can hold down the target key to lock the camera to the target to help you find them. Once the target box turns red, they are locked and a missile will track the target if it's launched.
Press the Switch button to switch to the second set of missiles. These are bigger
and have a longer range, but take a little longer to lock and aren't as maneuverable.

This is easily one of my favorite micro-games I've ever experienced, even if it does lack things like ground collisions and elite A.I. Graphics are simple, but lighting effects and color are pleasing and the low-poly geometry is spectacular. The gun cross system is very well done and missiles track well, have good power, and feel quick and weighty. The flight model, while simplistic, is very satisfying, with good pitch and roll rates, and the camera is reliable and tracks enemies well when the target key is held. Moreover, the plane itself handles well while tracking targets, which is something other games like this sometimes have trouble with.
You have something remarkably special in this game, and I hope to see it revisited or expanded someday.
perfect training game for the next tiny combat games
will there be a 34x bits version?
This game is no longer under development.
incredible! When is it coming out and how much will it cost?
I'm so glad i found this as the developer has taken down the demo version as he wants everyone to buy this on steam now. I am glad i was able to try this although this is just a very basic unfinished example of his work.
love the look and feel of this game. Reminds me of over g fighters arena. Loved that game and haven’t found anything like it since. Really looking forward to official release! 😀
My game will not launch
i have a problem. I would love to try out the game but i can't, i have downloaded the game but if i press play it won't work. it will load like Tiny Combat Arena but it won't start up. is this a problem you can solve?
Edit: is this because its old and outdated by now?
the codes in github are these yours a if they are do you give me the permisio
I would buy whole framework from you for my pet project, excellent
[ Bug Report ]
At first launch, after the Unity3D logo pops out, game freezes and an automatic (and generic) crash allert message appears.
At this link you can find an automatically generated directory containg some logs (also about my system specs) and a .dump file: Tiny Combat Crash Report
Thanks for the attention and your work!
Based on the crashlog I'm guessing that your Intel HD Graphics 3000 either doesn't support DX11 or doesn't play nicely with your hardware. Unfortunately, there's really not much I can do to fix this right now, you (or anybody) will need a dedicated and modern GPU to play this.
Just In case you may, in the future, have time to find a solution, I would point out that my Intel HD3000 graphics card is actually DirectX11/OpenGL 3.3 compatible, driver version is 126.96.36.19929, and also, 99% of Unity3D engine powered games published on itch.io and that I've tried up to now (hundreds), which require DX11 support aren't affected by this problem.
Anyway, thanks for your time and your work!
Very cool. Love the sounds! Where did you get them from?
Very nice Ace Combat & HAWX feel~ Wish you can develop further in such system or probably sell the framework on asset store.
Thank you for this very first demo!! Sure, it is early version, but basic fun is in! :)
Will try to figure out, can I use some re-mapper, emulator, to fly it with flightstick. And, for very casual sessions - mouse steering is a must. I hate gamepads :) Have them, but just for reasons if nothing else works :)
love it but the controlles are hard and it need a menue. and multiplayer would be fun
